The Land Rover LR4
Improvements and new features on the LR4 V8 include Bluetooth®
Connectivity as well as Hill Start Assist and Gradient Acceleration
Control. The interior offers leather front and rear seat styles and
includes a center console with an integrated, flowing design. 19-inch
lightweight alloy wheels with 7-spoke design are fitted as standard.
With its 375bhp 5.0-liter LR-V8 engine, the vehicle has all the power
you want and need.
- The Land Rover LR4 naturally aspirtated engine produces 375bhp and 375-lb ft torque.
- Upgraded CommandShift® Adaptive Automatic Transmission is fitted to
the automatic LR-V8. It adapts to your individual driving style and the
prevailing surface conditions. So you get improved fuel economy
through a wider range of torque, plus 10 percent faster shift times
with sport shift.
- The air suspension can raise the ride height up to 4.92 inches for
extreme off-road use and also has an access mode that lowers the vehicle
by 2 inches for easier entry, exit and loading. The suspension
delivers the most comfortable of rides. Its self-levelling feature
yields outstanding handling and composure, working effortlessly with a
wide range of vehicle loads. It also allows the vehicle height to be
adjusted from outside the vehicle for trailer hitching, using the smart
key buttons. Land Rover’s patented Terrain Response® technology
incorporates 60 years of our off-road expertise. The system optimizes
vehicle set-up for different terrain conditions and inspires supreme
confidence over mud, gravel, grass, snow, and rocks, while delivering
uncompromising performance on tarmac. Terrain Response® also
incorporates Sand Launch Control (SLC) and Rock Crawl (RC). Sand Launch
Control helps prevent wheel spin and the vehicle ‘digging in’ when
moving off from a standstill, while Rock Crawl delivers more vehicle
composure by applying light brake forces.
- Trailer Stability Assist automatically detects the presence of a
trailer. Once 37mph is reached, the sensors monitor the behavior of the
trailer. Should any swaying or oscillation occur, the system uses
selective braking of the appropriate wheels to help correct any
potential problem.
- The Hard Disk Drive (HDD)-based Satellite Navigation system is now
easier and more intuitive to use, while also providing faster route
calculation, greater map coverage and improved reliability. HDD offers
improved access, graphics and more data storage capability. Navigation
assistance includes off-road guidance with waymarking and contour lines
display, while points of interest can easily be stored en route. HDD
can easily be updated by British Motor Car Distributor.
- Includes second-row fold flat seating (35:30:35), third-row, fold
flat, forward facing seating, third row side-curtain airbag SRS,
third-row map lights and accessory power outlet, rear luggage net and
additional front cupholder. Includes second-row A/C and Heating
controls regulating airflow to the second and third-row seats, two
vents at second-row headliner, two vents at third-row C-pillar and one
outlet at third-row lower level.
- LR4 has up to eight airbags strategically positioned around the
vehicle to help protect all occupants during an accident. The front
seats have both front and side airbags, with each row having its own
curtain airbags.
