The XK combines Jaguar's legendary performance with advanced technologies and sporting luxury to create a grand tourer with the heart and soul of a sports car.
The XK is available in Coupe or Convertible, with a choice of two engines.

- Jaguar Drive Control offers driver selectable modes to match road conditions and driving styles; Winter Mode softens the responsiveness of the engine and modifies the gear change and Dynamic Mode adjusts the throttle, transmission shift and stability control to deliver a more sporting driving experience
- Adaptive Dynamics calculates road-induced body motions 100 times per second and continuously varies the damping to suit driving conditions
- Adpative Differential Control limits the slip between the rear wheels to optimize traction and stability in different driving conditions
- Xenon headlights with washers and automatic leveling with cornering illumination
- Convertible Rollover Protection System activates if the car's on-board sensors detect an impending roll-over, two massively strong hoops are triggered and designed to deploy and lock behind the rear seats

actuates braking even before the driver has started

- 49% of the car's mass sits over the front wheels and
51% on the rear achieving an unparalleled sense of
balance during turns and transitions

dipping under braking and the rear end from squatting

- As an option, the GranTurismo can be equipped with the Skyhook system of shock absorbers that continually adjust
the damping. This technology automatically selects the optimal level of damping and integrates with the MSP safety system and the calibration of the car’s automatic gearbox.
